Following his Netflix movie The Irishman, Martin Scorsese has now begun production on his next giant movie, Killers of the Flower Moon. Cameras have begun rolling on what writer Eric Roth has said is “one for the ages.” The movie is set to premiere on Apple TV+. Scorsese said in a statement that he’s happy to be able to film Killers of the Flower Moon in Oklahoma, where the murderous events of the movie take place. The film is set in 1920s Oklahoma during a time when the Osage Nation Native American tribe found oil under their homeland. After this discovery, high-ranking members of the Native American group were murdered one by one .
