The Flash movie has its Supergirl–and the casting is historic, as Sasha Calle will be the first Latina actress to portray the character. The Flash director Andy Muschietti revealed the casting on social media, where he posted a video of himself telling the actress she’d gotten the part. Calle, who is Colombian, is best known for her role on the long-running soap opera The Young and the Restless over the last few years.
