The evidence continues to mount that 2020’s new Call of Duty game will be developed, in part at least, by Black Ops studio Treyarch. Professional Call of Duty player Chance said on Reddit that he recently met with the studio to talk about the “competitive philosophy” for the new game.Activision is known to consult with top professional players to help with the competitive scene for each new Call of Duty game–it’s important because Call of Duty eSports is a huge deal. Treyarch studio boss David Vonderhaar recently stoked the flames of a Call of Duty reveal with a cryptic message on Twitter. We might know more soon, as some people are suggesting the new Call of Duty game will be revealed during Sony’s PS5 event on June 11.Sony and Activision have been partners for many years now.
