As far back as 2013, Best Buy has been in a fierce battle to remain relevant in an online shoppers’ market. Surprisingly, it has surpassed expectations and has, along the way, ditched the insulting “Amazon’s Showroom” nickname. One major factor in its turnaround was the change to allow customers to price-match online competitors, namely Amazon. As the holiday shopping season begins, it remains clear that these two retailers are certainly going to do whatever it takes to topple the other’s Black Friday sales. When Do the Black Friday Deals Start? Amazon has launched a HoliDeals hub with big savings on TVs, Fire TV streaming devices, Echo smart speakers, and more. It also teased pre-Black Friday deals on its own devices, beginning Nov. 22. Best Buy stores will open their doors at 5 p.m. local time on Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day. Most will remain open until 1 a.m. on Black Friday and re-open at 8 a.m. local time. Leading up to Cyber Monday, stores will then again be open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday….
