Public urged to avoid using fuel additives The Department for Goods Quality Management has warned consumers to avoid using fuel additives which were advertised to help save fuel. Although the chemicals are available on the market, they have not been tested for quality and safety according to fuel additive regulations issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
