BAYERN MUNICH’S will step up their attempts to sign Leroy Sane when he returns from holiday in a move that could end of their pursuit of Callum Hudson-Odoi. With the Chelsea starlet out of contract next summer, Bayern tested the water by launching bids of up to £35million earlier in the summer – which were rejected. New Blues boss Frank Lampard has insisted that Hudson-Odoi should stay at Stamford Bridge and wants to make him into a “world class” player. And Sun Sport revealed last month that the player will happily put pen to paper on a five-year deal if given assurances over playing time.That is the pitch of Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who is now trying to fill the gaps left behind by Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.
