MANCHESTER UNITED fans fear their club is “living in the past” after the launch of next season’s kit. The 2019-20 home strip was released today with Real Madrid target Paul Pogba taking centre stage in the photoshoot. The adidas kit which will be worn next year includes a number of nods to United’s Treble-winning 1999 season. Stitched in black at the bottom of the shirt are the words: “Treble winners BCN_26.05.1999″It also includes the minutes in which Teddy Sheringham and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scored against Bayern Munich in the Champions League final at the Nou Camp on either sleeve. United were at the height of their glory days in that season as they won the Premier League, FA Cup and European Cup. They will wear the kit which celebrates their best achievement while competing in Europe’s second-tier competition and trying to scrap back into the top four next season.
