Jose Mourinho faced the press this morning ahead of Manchester United’s trip to Southampton on Saturday. The Reds travel to the South Coast in seventh position in the Premier League and without a top-flight win since the start of the month. Mark Hughes’ side are currently 18th and have fewer wins than any other club in the league, with just one victory from their 13 matches so far this season. Mourinho was asked about a number of players during his presser, with David de Gea’s contract situation, Alexis Sanchez’s injury and Marouane Fellaini’s late winner in midweek all talking points. The United manager also suggested young full-back Diogo Dalot is set to be handed his first Premier League appearance against Southampton. Dalot has just two appearances to his name this season having arrived at United still recovering from knee surgery and having picked up a new problem while on duty with Portugal’s U21s in October.
