Several organisations have pledged to donate billions of VND to develop a vaccine as well as other prevention projects against the Covid-19. In the first step, they will produce 1,000 doses in the laboratory. The National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology will donate VND7.5bn (USD323,000) for the research project on epidemiological characteristics of the Covid-19 in Vietnam.
