They’re still in the planning stages, but they are building a robot. The team is two months out from their first contest and is in the middle of building their practice field. Every year, the teams are given a new game, like an obstacle course, they have to send their robot through, said the team’s coach and Tomball High School teacher Patrick Maguire. “It’s different every year, and you don’t find out until the beginning of the year what it’s gonna be,” Maguire said. “This is all trial by fire.” T3 Robotics—short for teamwork, thinking and technology—are in their third…
