Prince Charles has lived in quite the matriarchal household, with his mother being the Queen of Britain. However, Her Majesty was not the “feisty” female influence for the prince growing up. According to an expert there was another woman in young Charles’ life who was his inspiration. Princess Anne was the real inspiration to brother Charles, an expert claims. Judi James commented on an official portrait of Charles, noting how his body language signals were created by his upbringing. “Charles had a very strong mother figure in his life who – although often being seen as rather remote and hands-off – was also the equivalent of his boss in terms of his royal ‘career’,” the body language expert remarked. However, as was the case for the aristocracy at the time, Charles did not spend a huge amount of time with his mother. Charles had a governess between the age of five and eight. He attended boarding school, which he reportedly did not enjoy, preferring to be at home.
