Manchester United’s dull draw with Arsenal condemned the Red Devils to their worst ever start to a season in the Premier League era. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has come under fire in recent weeks after a run of poor results has seen the Manchester giants slump to 10th place with only two wins in the campaign so far. According to Opta, the Old Trafford outfit’s haul of nine points from their opening seven league games is their lowest at a top-flight term since the 1989-90 season. Solskjaer’s position at the helm is becoming increasingly untenable with the team’s poor form that also included shock losses to West Ham and Crystal Palace earlier on. The Norwegian boss had the chance to turn things around against Arsenal at home but the team failed to convince once more.
