Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants the club to take a new approach to new signings. A report in The Mail Online claims Solskjaer wants United to use a Spanish consultancy service to help the club’s recruitment. Solskajer is currently overseeing a squad overhaul at Old Trafford, and is expected to dip into the January transfer market to help turn the club’s fortunes around. Despite spending upwards of £150million in the summer, United’s transfer window was still criticised by fans after the departure of Romelu Lukaku without a replacement. Harry Maguire became the club’s record signing after arriving for £90m, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James joined for £50m and £17m combined. But Solskjaer wants the club to look further afield for future signings, as he has reportedly told the club he wants them to use Madrid-based company Driblab. Driblet is a database with more than 100,000 players with the potential to be new signings, and are currently used by Nottingham Forest as well as multiple La Liga clubs.
