Arsenal and Manchester United will top a schedule of nine televised fixtures on BT Sport on New Year’s Day next year. Two of the nine fixtures, Brighton vs Chelsea and Burnley vs Aston Villa, take place at 12.30pm on the first day of 2020. And a further three games will then be shown at 3pm – a list which includes Newcastle vs Leicester and Southampton vs Tottenham. In the early evening games (5.30pm), Premier League Champions Manchester City are in action as they take on Everton at the Etihad. Norwich are at home to Crystal Palace while West Ham host Bournemouth at the London stadium. But the big spectacle of the day will be Arsenal vs United, which kicks off at 8pm. The two side’s have already faced off once this season, with the game finishing 1-1 after goals from Scott McTominay and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The announcement from BT Sport comes as Amazon Prime publicised their early December and Boxing Day fixtures, which will all be aired on the streaming service.
