Liverpool pundit Danny Murphy reckons Reds boss Jurgen Klopp would take Daniel James at Anfield “all day long”. The Welshman, who signed for Manchester United this summer in a £15million deal from Swansea City, has been a huge hit at Old Trafford so far this season, despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side struggling in the Premier League. Liverpool, conversely, have yet to drop points in the top flight and sit pretty at the top of the standings. Despite that, Murphy, who played for the Reds as well Fulham and Tottenham, reckons James would fit in perfectly on Merseyside, along with another of his United team-mates. “United need more quality to catch up to their rivals but that doesn’t mean they don’t have any at the club,” Murphy said in his Daily Mail column . “I think Jurgen Klopp would take Marcus Rashford and Daniel James all day long, they would fit in with his philosophy very well. “At (Manchester) City, we know Pep Guardiola liked Harry Maguire and he’d probably look at (Paul) Pogba and think he’s a talent he could really improve. “United’s squad is relatively thin compared to previous seasons but injuries do give an opportunity for young players…
