It will be England’s second successive World Cup semi-final, having reached that stage in 2015, and although Norway had chances it was a brave attacking performance that allowed Phil Neville’s side to dare to dream they can go even further. It is now 11 goals scored in five matches in this tournament – and back-to-back 3-0 wins in the knockout stages – and just one conceded, with England also indebted to an excellent defensive display by captain Steph Houghton.
