YAYA TOURE is set to return to football in the Chinese second-tier. The Manchester City legend, 36, is scheduled for a medical at Qingdao Huanghai after leaving Greek club Olympiakos six months ago. Toure was targeted by the China League One side after an injury to their captain Juan Verdu. Qingdao are top of the division and want the Ivorian to help them seal promotion to the China Super League.Toure recently denied claims from his agent Dimitri Seluk that he had retired, insisting he had another couple of years left in him. And finally getting to the Far East now looks likely after resisting approaches earlier in his career. Toure may have left City last year but his presence is still clearly felt at the club. While working as a Sky Sports pundit on the final day, he was dragged into the title party by his former team-mates.Having spotted Toure, in his media role, Leroy Sane sprayed the club icon with Champagne.
