Upon further review, this is one wacky season so far. Only three teams remain unbeaten and the Cardinals are one of them. Only two teams remain winless and the Saints are one of them. The team that was playing better than anyone else laid an egg in Minnesota and now the 49ers and Vikings are both 2-1. The team that was playing worse than anyone pulled off a big comeback in one of the toughest road venues in the league and now the Chiefs have a chance to tie for the division lead this week. And so, for the third time in four rankings, there is a new leader in the Daily News NFL Power Rankings with the Texans climbing to the top on the strength of a big win in Denver. They are followed by the Falcons, who have rolled to three straight wins and the Cardinals, who keep pulling upsets. Meanwhile, the 2-1 Giants, undermanned as they were in Charlotte, got back to playing like Super Bowl champs and pasted the Panthers, moving up to fifth.
